New Site For Writers

(Franklin, TN) – A Franklin author has launched a website for writers. Muscadine Lines: A Southern Journal, found at ASouthernJournal.com, is a venue for emerging and established writers to publish and/or promote their work on the internet.

Muscadine Lines: A Southern Journal provides two services:

Bimonthly online journal (e-zine) featuring 8 authors per issue—those previously published, as well as fresh new voices—fiction, essay, memoir, and poetry

Writer’s Portfolio (web page) containing a sample of the writer’s work, a bio, and contact information, as well as providing a web address

“The online journal was created primarily to give new writers an opportunity to have their talents recognized. It showcases the work of promising new writers alongside the work of experienced authors,” said Kathy Hardy Rhodes, editor and creator of the site. “And the Writer’s Portfolio provides an affordable web presence for writers who would like to have their own websites but are frightened away by technology and/or the costs of design and hosting.” Rhodes pointed out that the portfolio displays pertinent material and information in one location with an easily referenced address, facilitating an author’s promotion of his/her work.

Details are available online at A Southern Journal or by e-mail to Kathy@asouthernjournal.com.
