--Go on Yeah --Noogie Howard died? Yeah --When? Last Tuesday --Noogie Howard Yeah --She died? Yeah --She was a nice lady, I always liked her Yeah --Didn't she own the Bigelow movie house? Nah, she ran the Loew's Theatre on Third Avenue --She was married to Joseph Howard Yeah --She would give us candy at the movies when we were kids Yeah, she was a good lady --How'd she die? Hard to say, she was ninety-three --Noogie Howard? Yeah, she died --I know, wasn't she a Rockette? No, that was Buffy Arnold --Who said anything about Buffy Arnold? She was a Rockette --So who was Noogie Howard? She ran the Loew's on Third --Who was she married to? Joseph Howard --When's the service? Tuesday at two-thirty --You going to the funeral? Yeah, you? --I don't think I knew her
Often a featured speaker, Reverend Bratcher is a volunteer chaplain for the South Carolina Department of Corrections, Upstate Coordinator for the South Carolina Global Warming Campaign for the Christian Action Council in Columbia, South Carolina, and is past Secretary to the Executive Board for Greenville Faith Communities United which seeks social justice and interfaith understanding.
Reverend Bratcher makes his home in Greenville, SC, where he is a member of the Metropolitan Community Church and is their interfaith representative to GFCU and past chair of their outreach and singles committees.
